For your convenience, our most common customer questions are answered right here.

Q: What is a Virtual Assistant or VA?

A: A Virtual Assistant (VA), is an independent contractor that provides virtual administrative support to clients from their own remote office rather than as an on-site employee.

Q: What does a Virtual Assistant do?

A: Well, there are endless ways this can be answered, but in short, a Virtual Assistant does the majority of things that a personal assistant or office administrator does, but they’re never in your office. Answering telephones, replying to emails, invoicing your clients… anything you can do online, your Virtual Assistant can help you with.

Q: What kind of administrative support do VA’s offer?

A: Virtual Assistant (VA) can provide office support in the areas of marketing, general accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, human resources, typing, presentations, desktop publishing, website maintenance, customer support, transcription, form creation, research, writing, editing, event planning, and a variety of other computer related administrative services.

Q: What hours do you work?

A: We work our own timetable and you can discuss your needs with us individually. We can work the normal 9 to 5 or work whenever you need us!

Q: How do we share files?

A: We primarily use Google Drive, however, if there is a system or program you prefer we can discuss that.

Q:  Isn’t it more expensive than hiring an employee?

A:  No. The cost savings is two-fold: financial and emotional. When you hire an employee, on top of a salary or hourly wage, you have a ton of things you need to administer (payroll, benefits), many things to buy or lease (equipment, furniture), you have to deal with a variety of insurances (workers’ comp, unemployment), pay your share of taxes, conform to Federal mandates (OSHA, ERISSA), and you have to share space well (no more working in your pajamas!). It’s expensive and can be grueling.

Virtual Assistance was never intended to be the low-cost alternative to getting administrative support. It was intended to be, and absolutely is the most convenient alternative to having on-site employees provide that support. As a result, we set fees based on the value we create for our clients; the higher the value, the better our compensation.
